Fruit For Wild Birds

Many birds will readily eat fruit. It is always best to use dried fruit in feeders in order to prevent molds and bacteria.

The easiest method of providing fruit is to purchase wild bird foods that contain real fruit. Make sure to read the label. Fruit flavorings are often used and provide no real fruit.
