Finch

Description:

Finches are small birds that do not require much interaction. Rather, they prefer to be housed in pairs or several birds at a time. Finches are known to be great singers. They live up to seven years in captivity. Generally, four square feet of floor space is required for a pair of finches. A seed mix formulated specially for finches is preferred, along with a daily source of almost pure calcium, such as cuttlefish bone or eggshells.
